Dick Bishirjian, head of the American Academy of Distance learning, http://www.academydl.com, was Founding President of one of the first online universities,Yorktown University from 2000-2016. Before that, he was a professor of politics at the University of Dallas and elsewhere, and in the NEH under the Reagan administration.
