About Chris Matthew Sciabarra

Chris Matthew Sciabarra was a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Politics at New York University from 1989 - 2009.  A prolific writer, Dr. Sciabarra's works include the Dialectics and Liberty trilogy: Marx, Hayek and Utopia, Ayn Rand: The Russian Radical, and Total Freedom: Toward a Dialiectical Libertarianism.

He is co-editor, with Mimi Reisel Gladstein, of Feminist Interpretations of Ayn Rand.  Sciabarra is also the founding co-edited of The Journal of Ayn Rand Studies

 He is also the author of two monographs:  Ayn Rand: Her Life and Thought and Ayn Rand, Homosexuality, and Human Liberation.

Dr. Sciabarra has received a number of academic distinctions, awards, and grants including the Joel Hershmann Prize for Excellence in American History and an Earhart Fellowship.
